In my youth, I had played the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons with my younger brother and some friends. After we had finished playing, I had wanted to immortalize the characters and give a gift of artwork to each of the players that had helped make a wonderful and memorable time in my life. I initially rendered each character separately and then eventually created the background for all of them to co-exist in. The process entirely took 4 years to finish.
